Vaporizer suitable for beekeepers with thousands of hives. It heats up in only 2.5 minutes and is ready for sublimation.

With the power of 600 watts, it is the most powerful and fastest model in the entire OXALIKA line. It is capable of performing a 10-gram sublimation of oxalic acid every 60 seconds. You can vaporize a 2 gram dose every 12 seconds.

It is equipped with a spring plunger and a smart valve.

The spring plunger can be adjusted from 1 to 4 grams: adjustment is made by simply turning the knob. With the spring plunger, the correct dose of acid is inserted through the smart valve.

Interchangeable tube: in just a few steps you can replace the diffuser tube, choosing the one that best suits your treatment. With the “S” curved tube you will be able to easily deal from the flight hatch. Instead, with the 90-degree curved tube you will be able to treat from above using the hole for the feeder. With the straight tube you can treat the hives by drilling a hole in the back side of the hive or the back side of the inverted inner cover. The tubes are made of high-strength copper and are all included with the sublimator.

Anchor bracket: the anchor bracket is included and improves the stability of the sublimator in treatments from the flight opening and, by mounting it upside down, from the hole on the hive’s cover.

Aluminum ensures more even temperature distribution without the formation of “hot spots” and “cold spots.” The accessible sublimation chamber allows for thorough cleaning necessary to keep the sublimator efficient after many uses.

How does the temperature control system work in the OXALIKA PRO Power model?

The temperature control system uses a platinum temperature probe built into the boiler. The system is designed and manufactured entirely in Italy with first-rate components for specific use in oxalic acid sublimators. All those functions found in normal temperature controllers that would be unnecessary in a vaporizer but would make its use more complicated and more likely to fail have been eliminated. Therefore, operation is very simple: by pressing the + and – buttons, you can set the desired temperature. Since this is a control system designed specifically for use with sublimators, it is impossible to set a temperature higher than 240°C (464°F), and this prevents the end user from setting a temperature too high that would damage the bees and the sublimator itself. The control is very precise, and overheating beyond the set value is limited to 5-6 °C.

Can the temperature also be displayed in degrees Fahrenheit?

Sure. Holding down the – button for 5 seconds will switch to the temperature unit change mode, and the display will show a C or F depending on whether the unit in Centigrade or Fahrenheit is selected. At this point to switch from one to the other, simply press the + key, and after about 10 seconds since the last selection, the sublimator will begin to display the temperature in the selected unit of measure. Usually when the product leaves the factory it has the temperature unit set according to the customer’s country.

Will a 12-volt model be placed on the market?

The high power of the device would require too heavy and bulky cables, and handling would be compromised. Therefore, for use with 12-volt batteries, an inverter capable of transforming 12 volts to 230 volts is required.
