Battery-operated, cordless vaporizer Runs on 18-volt lithium-ion batteries (not included). It heats up in only 2.5 minutes and is ready for sublimation.
The Oxalika Pro Cordless Easy vaporizer is approved for use with Api-bioxal. Api-bioxal is an oxalic acid drug approved for sublimated use in most European countries.
Api-bioxal contains excipients (about 14%) that do not evaporate and must be removed between sublimations with the use of a special brush provided. The sublimator boiler is designed to facilitate the removal of residues; in fact, it is clear of internal obstructions. Residue removal takes only 4-5 seconds if done between sublimations. If, on the other hand, residues are not removed immediately, they become encrusted, becoming hard and difficult to remove.
The tube is straight, which allows easy removal of debris that could possibly clog it.
The Oxalika Pro Cordless Easy model comes with 2 process caps and two dosing spoons of 1 ,15 grams of api-bioxal (corresponding to 1 gram of pure oxalic acid).
The number of treatments you can do with a battery depends on the capacity of the battery. With a 5Ah battery, about 40 treatments of 2.3 grams of api-bioxal can be made if the sublimator is cold and about 50 if it is already warm.
Battery protection: the vaporizer has a built-in system that turns off the vaporizer when it detects that the battery is low by protecting it from overdischarge (an overdischarged battery cannot be recharged and becomes unusable). An indicator light will indicate the status of the battery: it will be lit green if the battery is charged and will turn red when the battery is almost completely discharged and the device is about to turn off.

Short, straight tube: given the position of the tube, straight and short, with the OXALIKA Cordless Easy model you will only be able to treat hives by drilling a hole in the back side of the beehive or the back side of the inverted cable cover. The tube is made of high-strength copper and is able to support the weight of the sublimator when inserted into the hole of the beehive or the inner cover.

The temperature control system uses a platinum temperature probe built into the boiler. The system is designed and manufactured entirely in Italy with first-rate components for specific use in oxalic acid sublimators. All those functions found in normal temperature controllers that would be unnecessary in a vaporizer but would make its use more complicated and more likely to fail have been eliminated. Therefore, operation is very simple: by pressing the + and – buttons, you can set the desired temperature. Since this is a control system designed specifically for use with sublimators, it is impossible to set a temperature higher than 240°C (464°F), and this prevents the end user from setting a temperature too high that would damage the bees and the sublimator itself. The control is very precise, and overheating beyond the set value is limited to 2-3 °C.
Sure. Holding down the – button for 5 seconds will switch to the temperature unit change mode, and the display will show a C or F depending on whether the unit in Centigrade or Fahrenheit is selected. At this point to switch from one to the other, simply press the + key, and after about 10 seconds since the last selection, the sublimator will begin to display the temperature in the selected unit of measure. Usually when the product leaves the factory it has the temperature unit set according to the customer’s country.
Lithium battery management presents complexities that necessarily require the use of a control circuit to prevent the battery from over-discharging. In fact, lithium-ion batteries, if over-discharged, become very dangerous to recharge and the respective chargers, sensing that the battery is too low, will “refuse” to recharge it. Therefore, the battery becomes unusable.
