The correct use of appropriate personal protective equipment allows the elimination of any possible health risk for the beekeeper. The use of a mask equipped with filters for organic acids is fundamental and its protective efficacy is periodically verified, both with the replacement of the filters (at least annually), and with a correct conservation. In addition, chemical suit, glasses and gloves are required.
